Christmas at Bukit Tengah!

so what's it like having christmas in bukit tengah... well, for one, we'll go for late night mass and NOT midnight mass cause midnight mass is too long with too many ppl... so, 9pm mass was it and it was in chinese... i know i know... at least we went!

so, first time wearing this tube dress, looked like i was pregnant ... which I AM NOT... it was ok, very cooling (if u know what i mean) and well i may wear it again, i may not.. not sure on which occasion i can wear that again... oh well... mum can have it now...

then in the morning, someone will fetch grandad from the home... he thinks he's staying in a hotel.. hahaha.. we tell him the truth, but the next 5 mins, he'll forget again.... sometimes dad is cheeky, he plays along with grandad... hahahha....

have a nap if u want, get prepared with food... me - trying to finish homework.... and when 6pm comes, time to get ready.... got this skirt at FOS with me girls and i love it!! it's "flowy" and "cute"... don't u think so!!... thanks girls for dragging me in FOS and letting me "find" this skirt... hahahah....

then the crowd comes, they all came at around the same time so it was good... hard to layan many ppl at one time but it's alright... i guess i did share myself with everyone.... my faithfull jessica and brian came... said my mum's food was better than EQ buffet.. hahahaha that made my mum's day for sure! then my girls came... and one of my classmates came too! chea ying! am so glad that she came... with her kids too... so cute...

unfortunately, i was waiting for my previous work friends to come but NO ONE turned up... so dissapointed la.... sigh.... they all said they'll come but all never come.... :(

mum's friends came too, so that was another group.... and by 10pm something, ppl start to leave one by one.... am glad that the girls stayed a lil longer to chat... ching chiew too.... so sad, won't be able to see them anytime soon... dunno when i'll be back.....

so now, i'm backing up my pics on a cd.... make this as my last blog post till i find a way to get online in KL and pack before i sleep... my bus is at 10.30 tomorrow... i know... so early!!!! sigh.... i'll try to sleep on the bus.. and have naps at home in KL....

i manage to answer 3 questions out of 5.... though there are smaller questions in question 4... sad right, doing homework on christmas day... sigh, what to do... all for the sake or making my decision to leave home right.. if i'm not going to try, why the hell did i leave everything that's comfortable and go elsewhere?

right now, i'm still trying for Q 4 - wireless LAN... hope i can get this done before ppl start coming to the hse... if not, another long night....

thought of going out tonight but, 1-lazy, 2-reluctant to call ppl to go... cause i'm assuming, they have happening midnite parties to attend... but oh well, at least i managed to get half of my question answered, tomorrow i shall try to finish the rest before the PAR-TAY begins!!!

clubbing last night was weird.... i was with great company but the place sucked... though it's just 5 mins away from home, it sucked... cause they had a sucky DJ, sucky songs and sucky "ppl" and sucky atmosphere.... sad to say, it was bad compared to the clubbing scene in penang... i guess ppl are used to going over to penang to club and it will be weird clubbing here on the mainland...

it seemed there will be a countdown here at AutoCity for NewYears eve... hope from then onwards the clubbing scene here at AutoCity will be better.... sad man.. i'm so dissapointed! sigh... oh well... there's always KL clubbing and Penang clubbing... for now, AutoCity clubbing - notchet

drinks were not that bad... though some waitress forgot our orders and HAD to get our own... sucky right? anyway, we managed to enjoy ourselves when the CORRECT song were played and just enjoyed each others company.... it was good to meet up with sharon and beechoo again, it felt like home.... love u girls lots!

we left the club bout late 1-ish cause we couldn't stand the songs that were played.... beechoo and sis went back... but the rest of us went to mamak (like how most clubbers do, eat after clubbing to sober up... not THAT i was high... *rolls the eyes*) bottom line, it was a good night because of the wonderful company, but the atmosphere COULD have been better... will need to think twice going there again - SOHO AutoCity...

hahah this was hillarious, i brought dad to midvalley megamall, it was his first time there and he was fascinated with their christmas decoration! hahahah.... i didn't get anything from there, was hoping Dorothy Perkins had some nice baju in my size (cause i got lovely tops before from there) but it seems they stop ordering size 20 from the UK... SO SAD MAN!!!

anyway, i brought dad practically everywhere, but in the end, i let him wait for me at MPH while i walked around....

decorations were amazing, i mean it's all candy-y and fantasy like.... like from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, they had candy trees, ginger bread house, candy house... and loads of HUGE christmas trees...

not only us, but there were so many ppl taking pics! lovely.... while i was walking around the mall, sometimes there were performances by ppl dressed up as elves, or mrs santa or church choir singers.... i didn't stop to see them cause i had to rush and also there were so many ppl crowding around....

first and last

it was sad, it was my last so called dinner outing with my wonderfully close dugong friend, rosie... we had a very early dinner... at 3+ pm... hahahaha and we went to TGI Friday, our first time going there.... it was quite an emotional roller coaster, it was sad yet, it felt it was the right thing to do, leaving penang....

TGI Friday is at the new mall in penang, QueensBay at Bayan Baru... we were excited going there cause it's been ages since we tried this type of food in KL... HOPING that they'll come to penang and YES!! they did... sigh, when i'm about to leave penang... sigh....

so we went there after work, yes i changed my shift to 5am, for the heck of it... excuse to start on packing... hahhah.... and it was empty.... of course la, who on earth goes for dinner at 3pm? hahahhaha.... we ordered and both had thani.... mind u, it was 3pm and we're already starting to drink! hahahah.... so u can just imagine, at 5 something, we were more happy than usual walking around the mall shopping! hahahah...

food was good but we secretly prefer Chillies, but because Chillies is not in penang YET, TGIF is good... hahahaha.... when we got in, the waiters were shouting greeting us, "WELCOME TO FRIDAY's" hahaha that gave us a shock, they did this to the next few customers that came in, but after a while we didn't hear any, or we were too "happy" to realised if they stopped their greeting or not! hahahah...

she and i had talks, we were going back to history and cheered to our friendship, love and future... am really missing her loads.... so to rosie my dear, u'll always be in my heart and u're a dear friend to me... i really appreciate it, though sometimes we may not agree on our decisions, but i'll always be there for u and support u anyway i can... love you babes!!! *sob sob*

not too sure if i said it here on with who i'll be staying with... so i'll be staying with my cousin.. 2nd cousin actually (i think)... he's my dad's 1st cousin... go figure la hehehe... (his dad and my dad's father are brothers)... anway, they're a wonderful family, very friendly, lovely and famlily oriented...

we stay at Gombak, Sri Gombak to be exact and the train i take to work is at the Terminal Putra, one end of the Putra line... this terminal is also the place to take the bus to Genting Highlands! yea.... maybe later on i may just take a day trip to genting on one of the weekends.... hmm.....

nostalgic

it was my last trip on the ferry before i left for KL... though i know i'll always come back.. but i felt sad abit... luckily i had my camera with me... so managed to take some pics.... photography skills kinda sucks but, oh well.......

the ferry has been a big part of my life... my dad worked in PPC (Penang Port Commission) most of his life and we had been traveling on the ferry since i was born until the Penang Bridge came up... even though the bridge was up, we would sometimes just take the ferry for the fun of it....

on the ferry, we would usually get out from the car and my dad would carry me and put me on the thingy that holds the rope to secure the ferry with the jetty, i have no idea what that is called... and i love the wind in my face when the ferry starts moving.... when i was bigger, i would count the jelly fishes i could see in the sea..... it was fun.... always enjoyed ferry rides...

when i got older, i used to take the passenger ride (which would be the second floor of the ferry) to and fro penang cause i didn't want to drive over to penang (toll/petrol reasons) and i had my cousin or friends picking me up on the penang side and mum to pick me up on the butterworth side....

the ferry also gave me memories with him, i would fetch him from the jetty after work, or we would take the ferry together cause i couldn't get the car... and even, just wanting to make our nights together longer before he took the bus to alor setar, we would purposely take the ferry for that extra 20 mins together... gosh... i miss him...

so, to the ferry, it was a bit painful to know that i won't be taking your rides as often as before but i hope u'll be around when i do come back to penang....

sorry for not updating guys... have no pc at home and no pc at work too... only now i got a pc but still i'm not "live" on the floor taking calls yet...

anyway, just a short update since i moved....

moved on thurs with dad.... unpacked my "rubbish" and manage to settle down... did a test run to my office on friday.... work at 8 but get up at 6... sad man!!! in pg, work at 7 get up at 5.45.... makes no difference!!! but at least, i'm used to getting up at 6....

then during the weekend, dad and i stayed at my godma's place in TTDI..... i stay at Gombak.. see the distance?!!! sigh.... but it's exciting, with all the traveling...

so monday... nervous like hell... but it was good... met new friends and everyone is SOOOO friendly over here!!! nice.... started with the drilling of techie stuff in my head.. tiring lo..... got homework somemore AND test!! not exam type of tests but spot on questions where the manager shiok, he'll just ask a question.. if not ready or blur.... die..... sigh... but at least he understands and sometimes.. ONLY sometimes he'll let us off the hook... but it's all right, all for doing the job better....

yesterday, had soft skill training, interesting, get to learn what words to use, what NOT to use... and how to call controll on the phone with customers....

now, it's all on the products...

and i'll be off back in penang for 4 days!!!!

when i'll be on the floor taking calls? must pass a test first... am not too sure when... *scared*

last day at work!

OMG! this is my last day at work! i can't believe the time has come!! i never knew it'd come!! i thought i'd stay here like forever!!! OMG!!!!

everyone's wishing me all the best... and i feel sad.... i feel sad to leave all these nice ppl, nice friends..... gosh....

well, i'm not sure how often i'll be blogging cause i won't be bringing my pc to KL and not sure where i'll be able to go online... with the chance i have, i'll sure to blog... dun worry....

am half way packing, it's already 3 bags full and there's still more to pack!!!... i haven't left home before and i wouldn't know how to pack!! the way i'm packing is like i'm packing for a holiday, but i have to constantly remind myself that i'm not coming back.... not that often i mean, and i'll be starting something new in KL... so i have to bring MOST of my rubbish there.... it's so weird, while going through my things, i found things i thought i lost and i have found stuffs that has loads of memories towards it.... sigh.... they're all in boxes now in one cupboard somewhere in my room....

sigh.. my team is sooo sweet!! they gave me a good bye card! that is wat u called a surprise! something u never expect....

hmm.. better stop now, before i get too emotional!....

going without a map

i have a map, a map i trusted, it guided me to the right places, the right way, some smooth roads some kampung roads, though i sometimes don't know how to fold it back, it was there for me when i got lost, so much so, i may look at it too many a times that i couldn't be bothered to remember myself how to get there.... but now somehow the map showed a wrong way, though i may not remember the way myself or never been down that road before, i feel the new way that the map is showing is a wrong way. because i thought highly of this map, i somehow feel very confused, dissapointed and sad that this is happening... so now, i'm lost.... i shall learn to make my own map, or... have to learn to go without one... but i'll always cherish this map in my heart

sob...farewell dinner

i never thought that i would have a farewell dinner... it was always other ppl leaving me and i always thought i'd be stuck here in penang... and this time it's my turn...

sad that i'm leaving but.... well, got to get something going, i can't stay at one place for long, especially if u can't move forward... i'll take this as an adventure.. just hope i'll have fun and learn lots with this...

so met up with the dugongs, at Tao... it's a jap/chinese place and it's a buffet.. eat all u want... and the foods quite impressive. it's all cooked! hahahah what i loved was the buttered fish! YUMMY!!!! OMG!!!!! i could die happy just eating that!! ahahha.. the others.. nice la.. just that maybe the taste is abit different... would go back.. but not so soon, cause it was bloody expensive! hahahha it like eating at Chillies or TGIF... it's a once-in-a-while occasion type of thing.

i like the decor there, very elegant yet casual and cosy, even the waiters are friendly.. not the formal type of friendly (which sometimes gets me nervous) but fren-fren type of friendly... so it was good... we ordered food, it was coming and coming and coming like nobody's business like as if we never ate in a month!! hahaha.....

the thing about this place is that we only have 2 hrs to eat.. they don't let u eat and rest and eat and rest the whole night.. hahahah... they only allow to let u eat for 2 hrs.... and after that they'll say it's the last call and give u deserts... smart i say.... 1)they get more customers coming in cause ppl are only to be there for 2 hrs and 2) with that 2 hrs, how much la can ppl eat? hahahah right or not... so, they get more ppl in, and a limit of food each 2 hrs....

it was good meeting up with the dugongs after quite some time, and it's sad too, cause i wouldn't know when i'll see them again, not for christmas cause everyone has plans.... and i wouldn't know when i'll be coming back too... sigh...

decent weekend pics

we planned this for a whole month... and finally the day has arrived yeay!!!

mum had some discounts, but the thing she had to be there to check in, so she and sharon met up and checked in... i was still at work and BC took half day. sharon had to go back to work but later met up with BC.... it was a friday, BIG jam (what's new) i managed to get a friend to drop me at prangin mall to meet the girls... we had dinner there and straight we went to the hotel.. we were so excited... we were checking out the room, looking at the things in it, the bathroom, raiding the fridge... (more of stacking the fridge with "drinks") and rested abit...

next it was the batu ferringhi night market! pirate heaven! hahahah... we didn't get any cds though... prices are RM4 for one... but for dvds, am not too sure... anyway, i found a heel-like-slipper and i loved it.. though it was abit $$ but it was still enough within my budget.. and oh oh...i got sun glasses yeay!! both of them got some stuffs too...

sharon had a cough.. sigh.. so didn't drink as much as i hoped... but BC was a sport... taking in the glasses i poured for her.... what's weird she didn't get high!! sigh.. maybe i'm not good in mixing... instead she got high on long-island-tea!! hahahah

so the next day sharon and i got up early for breakfast... yummy... and we seludup some food for our princess who was still sleeping in the room.. hahahah.... yea unfortunately, breakfast was for 2.. not for 3. then after that, it was sun time!! yeay!!! got BC to follow me to the pool while sharon did some poo poo... hahah...

we spent the whole day outdoors.. from morning till lunch when we got hungry... had magee mee in the room with "drinks" and after that, were too lazy to come out... actually, i was too pissed out to come out again to swim. the motherly in BC said i could drown.. so i had an afternoon hang over and all 3 of us had a nap of nearly 3 hrs! hahahah..... we got up and changed to go down to town, went for mass and dinner was at sega fredo's upper pg road... cause someone (not telling who) wanted to see Moots (of Pop Shuvit)... yea there was a DIGI blast youth festival thingy happening there...

so after she's done "drooling" we headed back to the hotel and went to the night market again... more stuff to buy... this time.. i didn't really get much... was trying to save some for my move to KL.... when we were in the coffee shop, look who was there at the long table... Pop Shuvit!!! so u can imagine la, someone was feeling hot (though she didn't drink).. hahahah

we had fun, we went to the beach at night, fooled around (not THAT type of fooling, u perv!) and headed back to the room for more drinks and talk... for both nights we slept bout 3am or so? hahahah... it was nice, just lying in bed, no lights, drinks in our hands and just talking.... sigh.... lovely!

girls.. we should do this often... relax, be away from everyday life and everyday ppl...
