BUY DELL!!! ROTFLOL... why don't wanna buy Dell... Dell is cheaper what...
No point upgrading to Vista unless its the 64-bit and you will make full use of it. If you just using word processors and the internet then it's pointless unless you want it coz it's up to date.
I still haven't upgraded and don't think I will even though I play games (not often anymore). I know most people don't like the layout but I think I would be ok with it since I'm already using ObjectDock and WindowsBlinds layout now rather my typical XP. No taskbar, etc.
Agree with Leyna. You need a powerful machine to run Vista AND it is not stable yet. I'm using Vista Business and Office 2007. Often there are issues like incompatibility and program not responding. To be safe, you need min 30GB HDD allocated for Vista and other basic programs i.e. Office, Burning Tool, IMs, Photoshop. And of course, I think min 1GB RAM, and good graphic card too.
dont dont dont dont ever get VISTA........unless you are going to fully utilise all the features
hahahha.... sigh...
too bad ppl, already got it..
1.5G RAM with Vista Home Premium... 80G hdd
thing is, i don't have internet at home (unless i go to hotspots)... so i bearly use most of the functions for vista....
and, not many places (in Low Yat) offer WinXP... it's Vista everywhere....
i don't use photoshop - dunno how to, and no internet for YM..so.. heheheh....
