won two tickets to catch the premier of Be Cool from Heineken!! yeah!!!!! entered email contest and won the tickets!!! it'll be screened on the 29th this month at GSC Gurney Plaza... can't wait... hmmm... wonder if my baby will be around.. if not... who to bring ahhh????

class reunion this sat!!! found out that around 10 people will be coming.. so nice!!!!! guess i think i'll plan for Tambun.. hope everyone's ok with that...

still can't find my thumbdrive...... :(

the computers i'm using can't get online.. while the others in the lab can.... i can use those but it's so far from my network.. got to walk up and down... up and down.....

my baby's so busy in college.... haven't had a good talk/chat with him for quite a while....

still can't set up my email server... tried to follow the tutorial from the link Jeziqa gave but still my clients can't send/receive email....

got to take the bus to Gurney Plaza tomorrow to reach GSC to get my winning tickets... must be there between 7-9pm... sooo late!!! i really hope there'll be busses to get home.. no money for cab man!!!!!! only got rm7 in my purse now.... tomorrow's bus fare (if i'm able to take the bus home) it'll be RM4!!!! RM2 to and RM2 back which means... i only have RM3 for snacks or what not if i wanted to get something... sigh.....

(tempted to use the money i owe ah kong dugong but if i do, i won't have any to pay him back... it took ages for me to save that money....)

feeling lonely... no one to talk to........... can't wait for my class reunion though.. at least that will be one night i won't be alone...

ANYWAY....

oh well.. what the heck... it's like any normal day.... nothing has changed... no difference... so can't really fuss about it and moan about it.... just got to take it as it is.. whether i like it or not... but sincerely wishing that my days would be better... sigh....

this week and Holy Week and i shouldn't be cursing myself... and this Friday will be Good Friday so have to fast which means 1 meal that day and NO MEAT... oh no!!!!.... then Sunday will be Easter!!!!! granddad will be with us this weekend and i'm not sure if mum is planning a dinner on Sunday.. can't make it lunch because i sort of have luncheon with the Yews.... so yea... hope i won't miss anything my mum planned....

ohh well.. it's only Wednesday.. got few more days till the weekend and for me to be home....

i lost my notebook (with all my thesis information in it) before and screwed up... but this time is.. MAJOR!!! i misplaced my thumbdrive!!!!! DAMN!!! a very good one too!! shit man.... i'm sooo silly!!!! how could i be so careless!!!

i hope i misplaced it at home... cause in due time it'll sure to resurface... but if i didn't and i misplaced it in college.. GONE...!!! sure students must have taken it....

i'm so mad at myself right now!!!!rrggghhhh....

now i got to save another RM100+ for another one..... AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! already i'm owing people here and there.... AAARRGGGHHHH!!!!.... there goes everything that i've been planning... AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

so sweet!!!! wished i was there for the wedding... Laura (my cousin) got married/registered in Australia on the beach where her bf(now husband) Leigh proposed!! isn't that romantic!!!!

was home.. didn't do much.. lazed around.. hearing about dad's cycling adventure the next day (he was to be cycling to Pantai Merdeka-Kedah) also catching up on my newspaper reading...

this weekend is Palm Sunday so we 3 (mum, dad and i) went to Chai Leng Park church for mass.. as usual for special days, masses becomes longer. for dinner we went for Banana Leaf!!! (Sri Ananda Bahwan) yeay!! it's been quite sometime since i ate banana leaf... had my normal chicken and my 'teh ais'!!! it was mum's first time to that shop, i told her it was the same as the one in Butterworth...

Sunday

got up late, couldn't sleep well... didn't do much cause it was bloody hot too!! my nose started to run and my throat becoming dry and sore.....

and today....

went out to MegaMall with mum to get my Thai slippers.. got 2 of em!! cause mum said it was sooo cheap!! RM7 per pair!! hahahahhahaha the price went down!! the last time i bought was RM10 per pair!!! so i got a red flower one and a darker colour.... then walking around saw Giodano... they were selling very striking colour clothes.. and was cheap too!! RM38 for 2 t-shirts... so mum was eyeing one and she told me to get one.. i got a RED one!! hahahhahah.... so nice!! got new t-shit and slippers!!! woopieeee!!!!!

at a moment there i didn't think of 'email server' it was nice.... though i wished i never will have to think of 'email server' but i have too..... now in college, trying everything that i know and can to set it up but can't... it doesn't seem to work....

called my fello ah kong dugong to the rescue but he's sort of busy... but he did say he'll get back to me tomorrow... so fingers crossed... then tried sending email to my rescuer Darryl... email keeps coming back as spam... DAMN!!! so... stuck again....

HELP....!! i'm stuck!!! i don't know why but i'm always getting stuck!!!

i've been having quite a smooth sail with my thesis until now, to set up an email server using and operating system which i haven't used before and haven't seen before! i can't seem to find someone or some web site to help me get started on setting up the bloody email server!

i'm trying not to panic and stay calm, but it's been a week already since i started finding resources to set it up.... still can't find any... don't ask me bout my supervisor... she aint gonna help me.. she didn't even help me the first time on how to use FreeBSD.. so i can't expect her to help me in Windows 2003 Server

i know Win2003 Server is something like any other Windows, with all the graphical interface and not but there's more to it... there's alot of configuration, IP addresses to add, components to install or not.. this is where i'm lost... i don't know what is needed and not needed in order to set this bloody email server...

even my help in FreeBSD, i can't seem to email him.. all my emails comes back and it's said that it's spam... how can it be spam when i've been emailing all these while???!!! well see what i said before bout technology.. it either helps us or burden us...

uurrggghhhh... i really need someone to help me in this email server thingy..... this is the last part of my thesis.. once i get this done.... i'm DONE!!!!! you hear me!!!!! sigh.........

being lost..

today....

.....today started out to be a very hot day... a day where u curse the sun and worship the cold... it puts u off from doing anything cause it's soo hot and uncomfortable, it's unbearable..

been wanting to start the day early, to go to college early but the heat and the sun (looking outside).. it's terrible!!! u could even cook an egg on the pavement... NO!! u can boil an egg in a pot with water on the pavement.. YES!! it's THAT hot!!!!

i know i shouldn't be complaining about the heat and how it prevents me from doing anything.. but it's also not the heat that's demotivating.. it's well.. everything... yes.. my mood swing is back... i'm trying to control it... i'm trying to be occupied so that it won't get to me.. but it's not enough.. it has already gotten to me..

it could be just the heat but that's just a denial excuse... it could also be because everyone's working and no time for me but that IS the TRUTH and i can't blame that.. it could also be that i haven't really got to talk to my baby for few days, but that is because he's really busy with his assignment and i can't blame him for that... so i guess it's all back to...myself..

i know i could do something different.. to cheer myself.. but i can't seem to do it.. my baby has been telling me so many times that i need to find something that i could loose myself into, just to get my head off things, be lost, clear my head, calm down and to have that motivation again to get on going. for my baby, he has computer games, me? i'm still finding for it... even though i do have hobbies but it's not strong enough to have that effect.. and the thing is, i must find it as soon as possible because the older i get the more problems and obstacles i need to go through and having that will make it easier for me but i don't... i don't have that 'thing' to straighten me out, to calm me down, to put myself back on track...

hmm.... i don't know what to say... better go get a bath and maybe i'll feel better....

i got two new blouses!!!! YEAY YEAY!!!! haven't been shopping and actually buying something for AGES!!!!!!!!!!!

went to meet mum for lunch... i suggested a set lunch at La Manila... but she wanted to try the food at Fish and Co. !!!! wooohoooo....!!! so we went there and had lunch... mum tried the Sweet n Sour Fish.. and i had the Cajun fish... nice but abit too salty... hehehhe.... man... it's been sooo long since i had good filling food without thinking of the budget!!! yum yum!!!!!!

then, mum wanted to look around... find clothes it seems.. i thought she just wanted to see the patterns so that she could just go and make at the tailors.. but then.. it was the other way round!! i brought her to Reject Shop.... then to Padini Concept Store... and found a blouse for me... just went to try it on for fun... RM38.... mum said to take it.. so WOW!!! ok she paid for it!!! *big smile!!!!!

then went round to East India... she loved the shirts there for my baby... thinking bout what he could wear to my cousin's wedding in August in KL.... then over to Summerset Bay, saw the scarfs and shawls... was sooo nice and elegent.... but $$$$$$$$$$......

then i showed her the plus size boutique - X-Tent... she was impressed with the clothes there and she knew i could fit the clothes there.. unfortunately its $$$$$ too.... thought not getting anything from there.. mum insisted of me trying a few blouses... and she got one!!! RM71 ...!!!!! and that's after discount... i never thought she would spend so much for a blouse for me... hahahahhaha.....

i'm soooooo happy now.. i got 2 new blouses... at least i don't have to wear the same old tops over and over again.. hehhe.... it seems these blouses are for Easter.... it's been soo long since i got something new....

*psstt... i'm thinking this is for Christmas too... cause didn't buy new clothes for Christmas last year......

can't wait to get back to admire my new clothes... man!! i feel like a poor kid on the road side feeling all so happy when given something new!!!!!

i'm at college now.. got an email from Darryl (who's helping me out with my thesis) to do some codes.... so did it already and now.. nothing much to do... i still can't find any source to help me in setting up an email server.... sigh.... hope help comes my way soon!!!.... i don't have much time!!!!!!

i don't know if its PMS or what... i'm just feeling abit lonely.. i'm sick of staying in this house here in Penang and the fact that i have the car and able to go out, no friends around.. i know it's last minute to plan stuff with them, but well... no one's free to hang out, chit chat... i guess when u start working, you value all your free time to what's important and priorities you have...

went out on my own to Gurney Plaza today after lunch.. thought i'd go get a blouse for my self or something, but there was none... wanted to watch movie but nothing nice was on... so i treated myself with a Coffee Bean and got a new handphone pouch...

it's been a while since i went walking around Gurney... few things changed, new stuffs are out but surprisingly there's no sale!! i thought March was the MegaSale of the country but it seems there's none... hmm... wonder why... too much sales in a year?? isn't having more sales a year is better?? well i'm not that of a shopaholic unlike some people i know.. hahhahahhaah....

then after that went to college.. tried to get things done but, stuck again... then the electricity went off... couldn't do anything, so i came back home.. wondering if i should go out tonight or not... sigh... sms everyone i know that might want to go out but all were busy.. so guess i'll be going out alone again...

my best friend was to come back to BM today, but last minute she said she couldn't.. busy with work... sigh.. kinda miss her... the last time she came down was Chinese New Year but i didn't really hang out with her... hope she'll come for the class reunion!

well.. did try to upload pics.. some managed to edit and some couldn't... feeling abit irritated here....

gonna get some dinner and will contemplate on whether to get out from this house for a while or not...

yeaps.. hard work during the weekend... here's what happened

Saturday

reached KL at like 4am!! so sleepy!! waited for my baby to fetch anna and i to the house, cleaned abit, changed and slept!!! and had to get up at like 9am or so... was sooo sleepy when i got up, practically had to force myself out from bed. didn't really have breakfast, had some Milo packet drink and dry buns (bought from 7-11)... and started to work...

helped anna to clean the kitchen, then i saw she could handle that part so i did gardening.. had to pull out soo much weeds!!!.... in the hot sun somemore!! then there was shifting of things, putting rubbish into plastic bags....

waited for my baby to come back after college and to bring lunch for us... was soo hot, could see i got abit of sun burn!!! hahahha.... and after lunch, back to work... my baby started on painting the kitchen walls, i helped him in the corners (but in the end we switched places... me paint the walls with the roller.. and he did the corners...) and what's so irritating is that my baby think i'm a wuss!! he thinks i can't paint walls, pain gates and gardening... well i sure did show him today!!! i painted the wall.. (without taking a rest) and also painted the front gate finish what was left... (and i painted better than him!!!! HAH!!!)

so this went on till night... mopping, cleaning, organising, painting.... body was aching all over!!! we had our rest, had a wonderful bath and went out for dinner... Malay food... yum!!!!!!

after dinner, we left anna in the house (cause she was too tired) and i went out with my baby.. wanted to catch a movie (TGV-KLCC)but was too late..that was like 1am.. (KL, saturday nite... no midnite movie???.. amaizing...) then wanted to have some drink at the cafes.. but that too was closed!!! all except for Starbucks... man!! and i thought KL was happening on a saturday night!!!

Sunday

got up early again... bearly could open my eyes... had to clean the house somemore cause a potential buyer will be coming to see the house.. it seems... and we thought he'll come in the morning... we rushed like nobody's business and in the end.. he only came like 11am something... sheesh..... and he was the next door neighbour!!!!

my baby went to get us lunch... had a bath... and we went out again to catch that movie we missed.. left anna in the house (she's not the movie watching person, she wanted to rest too) and managed to catch ROBOTS!!! man!!! that movie was HILARIOUS!!! didn't know it'll be so funny!!!

managed to reach Pudu in time to get a 7pm bus, but the bus only left at 8pm... sigh.... and not to say it took 4 hours to reach... it made 2 stops and it had to go to Butterworth and then only go to Penang... so we reached Penang at 12am something... had to take a cab back after some Nasi Kandar.. soo hungry... no dinner...

Today

got up late.... so nice to sleep in... checked emails... wonder around.. decided not to go to college... still tired and body aching.... read my CLEO which i bought and brought to KL but didn't have the chance to read it.... and now here i am writing this...

wanted to post some pictures up here in the Blog but the line is terrible and even Hello cannot upload my pics to the Blog... sigh.....

so got to get back to college and work tomorrow... i'm sooooo GLAD that i have the car this week!!!!!!! muahahahaha......

well, got a call from my baby, and he needs anna and my help in painting my cousin's place...be his co-handyman workers...hehehhe.... so, went to rush to the bus station to get tickets to go to KL but there was none. we wanted to go early tomorrow morning or bout 9pm tonight - no busses, all full. in the end i had to get the midnite bus tonight. i don't mind but anna is an old lady and she gets travel sickness very easily. i hope it won't be a problem for her tonight.

so here in college, rushing to do some work and have to go back to pack me bags to go to KUALA LUMPUR!!! i know it's not a holiday thingy but hey! at least i'm out station!! haven't been traveling for quite some time... and i miss my baby too... :)

when we reach KL, we'll be very busy, cleaning the house, scraping, dusting, washing, mopping and what not... won't have time to relax and go sight-seeing or window shopping (sob sob).. but heck, i'm in KL... woohoooo......we might come back on sunday that is if we manage to finish our work.. if not, monday only...

guess there won't be any blog for saturday and sunday.... dun worry...

it's true!!!

i got sick a few days ago.... was getting better.... and also was NOT getting better... like today, i felt perfectly fine... but then after lunch, my nose started to run again!!! sigh!!... so i had to get some sleep... to sleep it off... i slept for 2 HOURS man!!.. and was fine again.....

i also felt weird (still feeling it...) ...no energy, yet restless.... no appetite but hungry... sleepy but when go to bed, can't sleep... angry but no reason to be angry.... then again.. maybe its PMS.... but i finished over a week ago!!!!... so what's wrong with me!!!??? maybe i'm gonna die.... so how now???

haven't heard from the Dugongs.. dunno what they are up to... i have a feeling they don't want to talk to me... (but i think i'm getting over suspicious...) or.. they are just really busy.... sigh.........

early this morning bout 5am... no electricity!!! damn.. so HOT!!!!! i was too tired to get up from bed to snoop around... just got my chinese hand fan and started fanning myself... that too i couldn't do it for long.. was sooo sleepy!!!!!

and when the electricity came back.... uuuugggghhhhh.... like HEAVEN man!!!!! so nice!!!!!! luckily the no-electricity lasted like 20 mins or so... was not bothered to look at the clock, was too sleepy....

been trying to organise my form5 class reunion.. but the rest of them all expect me to fix a date, time and place. here i'm trying to get them involved in planning but they are not bothered. so i'm fixing the date which is on the 26th (eve of Easter) and time and place... maybe later. i'm thinking of Secret Recipie but food there quite $$$... so maybe go to Tambun (seafood-cheap).... and later meet up for a drink at Coffee Bean... but then if my Malay friends come along, have to think of a Halal place to go have dinner. i know Secret Recipie and Coffee Bean is Halal, but if the rest want to go to Tambun - that place isn't... well, got to wait till that day to decide...

it's been one week straight i've been walking to college... i think i should ask for the car next week... heheheeh :) just thinking of walking to college really puts me off, especially when the sun is like so damn bright and striking HOT! how i wished i had my own car...

my cousin, Blur Dugong, her mum's car (Waja) was traded in for a Honda City... so nice!!! so black!!!... haven't sat in it yet... i had a feeling that i was the last to know cause when i spoke to the other dugongs, it looked like they knew about it for so long... sigh...

am still waiting for my baby to tell me if he needed me and anna's help to paint my cousin's place... should be this weekend.. but hope he'll tell me soon so that i can buy the bus tickets soon... really want to go KL, been quite sometime since i went there...but... always no $$$...

money is always a problem.. always a setback to do stuff.. if u don't have $$$ u are limited, restricted and an issue... just wished i had that extra $$$ to get things done.. sigh.... (i think i better stop talking bout the issue of money... if not, even this blog isn't enough to hold it...)

can't really ask my supervisor cause i know she wouldn't help... she expects me to know everything and if i don't, she expects me to find the answer from the net... so what i got to do? well back to surfing the net for some answers..... sigh....

i was feeling lazy to come to college today... but i had to... came only at 5 something... and already 2 hours i can't seem to find something to help me with the setting up of the email server... how!!!!!...

sigh... was starting to panic cause i couldn't get in touch with my baby the whole day and night yesterday... called him so many times ... no answer... i managed to get hold of him after lunch today and it seems he was dead tired from painting my cousin's place... he ended up sleeping early.. somemore he was to get up early this morning for class.. pitty him only.... soooo tired... doing soo much.... i didn't get mad at him for not calling... i understand... he had so much to do and not enough rest... sigh... wished i could be there to help him out with the painting...

hmm... miss him loads too...

still feeling abit sick... don't have the headache though... but the throat is abit soar... got my sexy voice now.. hahahha.... hope it'll go away soon.... soo uncomfortable!!!

sigh... i'm sick!!!!! last night i had a terrible headache!! couldn't sleep.... then only in the morning i got to sleep and got up at 2pm with a running nose and a dizzy head!!!hate it when i'm having running nose and a soar throat.. must be the damn weather....!!!!! i don't know how i got this stupid flu... and what's worst.. i got to go to college... damn....

but luckily my mum called and said she's around in Penang and could bring me to college.. yeay!! so had a ride to college but when i got to college, i started to feel worst... couldn't do much.. had no energy to do much... so i'm here in the lab just checking mails and writing this blog.. thought of going home to take some Panadol and go to bed but i don't think i'll be able to walk home like this... i think i'll wait till the sun goes down abit, not too hot and slowly walk home.. sigh....

hate feeling this way... somemore... my baby's not around to sayang my sick self...

eating strepsils now.. don't know if it'll work.. it did before but i wasn't too sick when i took it before... so hope at least my throat won't be too soar after taking it... and i think i'll better sleep early tonight... my baby said, the ultimate medicine for a flu is rest... but what he really means is SLEEP.... when you get a flu... just go and sleep.. sleep the flu away... he said that having a flu is one way your body is telling you that you don't have enough rest.. well... i don't know how true that theory is but i do like the idea of sleep... !!!

so its 6 something now... guess by 7 i'll get on home, change and get some SLEEP!!! woohoooo!!!!......

went to megamall to hunt for my second NIC (a certain brand) and because it was a sunday, most of the shops closed!!! so starting to panic cause i needed it for today.. couldn't get one.. was with dad walking up and down, in and out alleys in the mall finding for computer shops.. all closed. in the end, had to settle with going to Bukit Jambul Complex today to find for it...

so was out back in Penang with mum... went to my shop i usually go to in BJC to find the NIC, they didn't have it.. so went walking round and round asking the same question and in the end, found a similar one and got it with a risk... hoping that it'll work... (knowing FreeBSD don't simply detect any brand of NIC)

and STUPID me!!!
today, when i reached college, i decided to take out my old NIC, clean it abit and put it back in the same slot.. and it worked!!! s**t man!!! why didn't i think of doing that in the first place!!!! sheesh!!!! (ok, now my fellow dugongs will all go...'DUUUGOOOONGGGG!!!!' yea yea.. i know....) sigh.... so here i am, having a branded brand new NIC which i spent RM30 for it and not gonna use it... sigh.... the guy at the shop said i could bring it back and exchange for something else.... sigh... stupid stupid stupid!!!!!

am i to keep the NIC or exchange it for a mouse for my baby.... hmmm..... what to do?? what to do?? what to do??? aarrgghh....

so manged to get some advertising done to my clients via 2nd NIC... and at least now can relax abit... the next thing i got to do is to find out how to configure the email server using Win2003 Server.... sigh.....

taking the day off.. slept in... didn't go to college... so nice.. but still HOT!!! was supposed to go fishing with the dugongs, but had to budget so couldn't... awww...... (damn... wrong time....it always happens like that)

i guess today's blog will be a short one.. since nothing much happened and nothing much will happen... will be going home to BM tonight and will only be back on Monday...

10 weeks.....

aarrggghhh...... my supervisor has given me a list of tasks and she said all that is to be done in (estimation) 10 weeks!!!! but then she said, it's not compulsory for me to follow those tasks in that order.... but i think deep inside she wants me to follow.... sigh..... at least i know what exactly i'm supposed to do!!!!

been searching the google for answers on how to get some things done.. but it's soo hard to find!!!! i've been reading and reading and reading until i'm getting a headache!!!! (i think its from all of this radiation...i'm working with 3 pcs you know!!!!!) i might get cancer soon man!!! other people deal with one pc the whole day... i deal with 3!! (actually 4 but now in the mean time 3)

been missing the outside world... missing my dugong friends.. missing my baby....missing going to the beach, shopping, eating out... haven't been home in 3 weeks already!! dad must be missing me too... though he don't say it.... sigh....

one night, ah kong dugong asked if we all (means the dugongs) could meet up (it's been quite some time) but in the end i don't know... no one called me bout what time they'll pick me up or something... i don't know what happened.... would really want to meet ah ma and ah kong dugong soon.. so long didn't see them!!!!

my baby is tempting me by saying he'll come down to Penang soon to see me... one of the weekends... i know he won't this weekend cause he got some painting to do.. hope it'll be the next weekend.... heheh... wanna bring him to this nice eating place.... yum yum....

so it's finally friday!!! i'm glad the weekend is here... will be going back home to BM and can enjoy the AIR-CON!!!!! YEAY YEAY YEAY!!!! here in Penang, i'm not allowed to use the air-con... so HOT!!! so back home... blast away!!!!!! can't wait!!! hehehhe....

also, the weekend... can pig out and tv out! hahah if there is such a thing!!... though i don't have Astro at home.. still 8TV is good enough! can watch my Queer Eye for a Straight Guy!! woohooo!!!

still haven't had the chance to use my web cam with my godpa... i'm always not home at that time when he comes online... i'll be in college... why not try to do it in college you say? CANNOT!!!!! i've got spies everywhere!!! and they know what i'm doing!! like there's one day which i didn't go to college.. my supervisor emailed me and ask me how come i didn't go to college!!! she said if i don't go everyday... she won't let me finish in JUNE!!!! arrggghhhh... so i HAVE to show my face in college..... it's like parole.... have to sign in the police station just to show you didn't go outstation or out of the country... i even have to tell her i'm going back home for the weekend!!! can you believe that!! sheesh!!!..... (from now i'm definately not telling my supervisor my blog!! die man!!!!HAHHAHAHA)

so it's been more than a week since i started this blog thingy... i feel better in a way.... letting things out... but i don't know if there are actualy people reading this... i know my baby reads this.. cause i tell him to!!!! hahahah.... but the others.... i don't know... i'm not complaining though.... ehehehehehe....

can't wait to get back to my air-con room!!!!... woohoooo........

wasn't too keen to go to college today.... didn't get any replies from my 'source' so not really motivated to go..... but i had to...

in college, i checked my email and my supervisor told me i got to expand my network - include a wireless client with an access point! sigh... how am i to do that?!!! my original network is not really 100% done yet!! and she's asking me to do extra!!!!! aarrggghhhh......

and she told me that my two friends who were under her, she dropped them. she didn't want to supervise them anymore!!!! gosh!!! i'm sooooo happy for them!! how i wished it was me!! at least they don't have to deal with her anymore.....

sigh, i really hope to get a reply from my 'source'... without him... i'm lost!!!!!soo soo soooooo lost!!!

was talking to my friend, sharon and i found out that she has a new crush!!! and this guy, is of Indonesian royal blood!! can u believe that!! and it seems he looks like harry potter... well that i don't know about that, i haven't seen him face to face before. for the first time in soooo long i have not heard her so excited and happy!!! knowing how much trouble and problem she had to go through moving to kl and studying there. at least now she has some happy moments in uni...i'm so happy for u sharon!

sigh.... i'm getting abit worked up and restless bout my thesis.... it's like i can see the finish line but my body isn't going towards it!!! it's just standing there, not moving!! i'm trying to move but it wouldn't budge!!!! rrggghhhhh.....

went to town today to get the Win 2003 Server cd from Prangin Mall. was waiting for the bus for like nearly freaking 1 hour!!! i ended up taking a 'taxi' with a fare of RM2 lucky me!! (had other passengers, so it's cheaper)

so was looking for the cd and not many places have it. luckily i found it!!! and i found out that it had 3 versions!!! web version, standard version, enterprise version... asked the guy what's the difference but he just shook his head.. i don't know if he knew what i was asking or he really didn't know the difference between the 3. so at first i got the enterprise version, it sounded like its the more advanced one... then i sms my supervisor bout the 3 different version, she wanted the standard, so i went back to the shop to change it.... luckily can change it.

then i thought of watching SEPET... it's a local movie produced by Yasmin Ahmad (who used to produce the Petronas 'touching' ads on tv) man... i was in for a surprise!!! i'm so glad that i went to watch it!! it's amaizing!! it's down to earth, it's so life like and the way she made this film is like when u watch it, you're in it too! cried abit though!! sigh.... the lead actor and actress (unknown) are brilliant!! i'm starting to be Yasmin Ahmad fan now!! i hope she makes more movies!!!! psssttt.... in that movie you will see Harith Iskandar in his underwear!!! hahhaha.... shocker!!!

bus services here in Penang are TERRIBLE!!!!! coming home i had to wait another 1 hour!!!!! cause there's only 3 buses passing through Green Lane, the number 18, 11 and 4. i didn't see 18 neither did i see 11 in that one hour!!! then when 4 came, sooo happy cause i was tired, weak and 'hurt'... i was soooooo HOT and tired when i got back... really respect those who take busses to work, school, college, market, hospital and where else everyday!!!!

what a day i had.... am glad that i got to get out from this freaking house for a while and do something out of the ordinary (or shall i say 'out of the routine'....) i would like to go out more often but the public transport is terrible!!! busses are not on time and not frequent...

i guess that's it for today.... tomorrow gonna be a long day in college... NOOOOOOOOO walking in the hot sun!!!!!!NOOOO...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i couldn't wait.... i had to use my web cam... so i called my baby up and told him to get online at the cafe in Ampang. so we met online and i used my web cam!!! and true enough, it's so much clearer during the day.... so guess i don't need to change to a better one!! as long can see my face properly, enough!! now... just to find the time to meet my godpa online and use it with him!! eeeeeeee i can't wait!!!!!

but then, when using the web cam, it slows down my pc. i can't really do surfing when i'm online with the web cam, dial up... what do you expect? guess next is to get broadband uh? nah.. not yet... got to start work first then can get that...

so yea.. the web cam... i even used it to capture images from my photographs!!! hahhaha it's like a scanner... pathetic aint it??? i did it with a picture of me and Melissa Maureen!

yes yes yes!!! the POND's girl!! she's a very old friend of mine. i'm not 'that' close with her but we've been pen pals since such a young age! we've lost touch for many many years but now have found each other through FRIENDSTER... yea... i'm soo glad to have gotten in touch with her again after sooo long... ever since i found her in FRIENDSTER, i met her twice... once when she came down to Penang (i brought her out for a tour of Penang food) and the second time in KL for my birthday!! (like my ah ma dugong said in her blog Rosalind's Blog) we also went clubbing too!! at Zouk. it was my first time at Zouk, it gave me a culture shock but was ok, not my kinda music but it's.. hmm... as i say 'acceptable'.. hehehehhehe but i DID have a great time!!! i met Cheryl Samad and aslo Reefa!!! psstt... Reefa got me a drink!! so that's my story about me and Melissa Maureen....

and then after the online web cam chatting with my baby.....

i managed to force myself out of the house and into the burning burning sun!!!! was walking to college today, thinking to myself.... "if i don't get anything done in college today, ggrrrhhhhh i'll be sooo mad at myself!!" so there i was in college (all sweating and cursing the weather..) there was Nicholas!!! ahhh my saviour!!! it's so hard to get hold on him to install the NIC and winXP pro for my network!!! and today... he's free!!

i know i could have done all this myself but i can't, college policy, student can't just do what they like to the computers in college, so must get the lab guy to do it....

as of now (typing this) my clients has been installed with winXP pro and the NIC has been installed in my router. that means my next step is to configure the new NIC in the router and find Win 2003 Server CD.... and my thesis is 70% DONE!!!!! yeay yeay!!! (the balance 30% is the documentation)

i can't believe i'm thiiiisssss close to finishing...... i could only get to this point if it weren't for my fellow ah kong dugong! (yes, there's an ah ma dugong and ah kong dugong!!) if he didn't get me that guys email, i wouldn't know what to do with my thesis!!! a shout out to ee benny boo boo... THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!! i owe u a BIG BIG one!!!!

my new WEB CAM!!

was supposed to be writing this yesterday, but was lazy.. watching tv.. hehehe... NCIS!!! and First Touch (singaporean drama.. very nice.. it's a doctor/hospital type of drama)

so i got my first web cam!!! the cheque my godpa gave me eventually got cleared!!! i thought i'd get rm280 considering the exchange rate of 2.80 aussie dollar.. but i only got rm230... bloody banks... sure to take some tax or something.. so i got the cash and went to get a web cam!! a logitech one... i'm testing this model out first and if it's ok i'll keep it, if not maybe i'll go get a better one... so here's a few pics from it.. is it good enough or should i get a better one?



now.. just have to find the time to meet up with godpa and use it with him... that's the whole reason he gave me that cheque!!!!! hahaha... at least i got some extra $$ with me, wonder what should i get....... hmmm.... ahh heck.. just save it!!!! i bearly have any in the bank!!! LOL..

ok so its 3.15am now.. better go get some sleep, got a long day ahead..... will try to write more.....
