glorious ribs!

FINALLY the dugongs met (all 7 of us!!!).......

and we met with a BANG!!! lunch at RIBS for Ah Ma's late birthday makan!! as expected the food was great!!! though we ARE used to the strong taste of Chaser's Ribs but the ribs at RIBS are just as nice (maybe abit less-strong.. but still nice) even the price was reasonable!! not as much as Chaser's which IS a good thing! hahhahaha.....

some of us had the set lunch which includes soup, the main dish and desert with a drink of course and others had just ala carte.... everyone was happy with their food and at one moment, everyone was quiet... enjoying the food cause everyone was hungry.. hahahha....

i was actually surprised by the decor of the place.. i thought it'd be like simple place but then when i went in, the lay out of the table was nice... the colour theme was romantic and there was a small water fountain at one corner and a wine "cellar" at another! there were mirrors on most of the walls (illusion effect to make the place look bigger) and u must see the bathroom sink!!! wow... the first i've seen!

so the bill was paid and we all said our goodbyes... Ah Ma, Ah Kong and i were supposed to catch a 3pm movie but we were stuck in the jam AND there was no movies at that time.. so in the end we ended up Ah Ma and i have our birthday cakes!!!

yea.. i didn't get mine on my birthday and so with Ah Ma... we decided we'd chia ourselves a cake for the occasion (AND Gurney was packed so no mood in window shopping) we ended up at Coffee Beans and had our cakes... i wanted to try their new drink Peppermint Mocha but they ran out of peppermint!!! wtf!!! it's the christmas season, u just came out with a new promo and u're out of stock!!! common la.....

it was nice just sitting around in a DIFFERENT atmosphere chatting and hanging out.... sigh... wished i could do that more.....

and where was my baby? sigh.. he was at home in Alor Setar... mum's not sick... so i can't complain....

christmas is coming..... yeay? well.. my christmasses has been quite simple and quiet for the past few years... so i'm afraid it won't be any different this year...

not sure if mum will cook for my friends this year.. she did last year and all of them loved the food... maybe i should start hinting!! heheheh... so friends... cross your fingers for my mum to cook!! hahahha

went for dinner last night at Gurney and damn... the decorations are up!!... not too great though but it looks nice and cozy... why cozy i dunno.. but i just feel cozy when i look at it... there were lights everywhere!! but i could recognize these lights... it was the same lights they had on for the DeepaRaya celebrations!! they just changed the ketupat decor to peppermint sticks!! hahaha (that's what u call recycling man!!) and the main floor they have put up some santa clause/house/snow display thingy..... i guess more decorations will be put up later.. didn't really walk round the shops.. didn't have much time... but i'm sure to be back really REALLY soon... for christmas shopping!!! YEAY!!!!

i brought my baby's flowers to work... and the last lilly bud is starting to bloom... so nice to see flowers bloom... and with the low temperature in the office the flowers here stay fresh longer...

its the weekend and yeay! i have a lunch date... a lunch date with my fellow dugongs yeay!! it's been such a long time since we did this.... hope the foods good!! hahahha..... planning to go to RIBS but it's all on a majority vote... then after that... maybe do abit of scouting for pressies... if there's time la... yeay!!! and also NO WORK!!! double YEAYNESS!!!!

nicknames

nobody calls me by my nickname unless they are my best friends, my old friends or my parents... even my relatives who i've never seen for YEARS never called me by my nickname... but when a new friend starts calling me by my nickname (cause they hear that my good friends call me that) i feel weird.... i know i shouldn't be, but the people who call me by my nickname are the ppl that i'm really comfortable with, gone through alot with them and that i've known them like forever!!!

i know i'm cruel when i say that i tried telling them to call me by my name and not to call me by my nickname, it doesn't get to them, they'll still do it... but because of that ignorance, everyone else keeps calling me by my nickname and i'm really not comfortable with that! i DON'T LIKE THAT!

i never even hung out with them for an outing, or even for a movie or even have heart-to-heart talk, and i myself bearly know them, heck they don't even know if i'm a single child or not or know where i'm staying, or what i like to do, or my habits... and they're calling me by my nickname? ppfftttt.... i don't even introduce myself using my nickname!!! no one's supposed to know my nickname!!! it's like.... ggrrrhhhhh..... *geram-nye*

back to work

so after a fun-filled-tired weekend... it's back to work... sigh.... but its ok... i guess the short hols gives u abit more strength to get our asses to work...

so i'm back to the 7am shift... ok la.. get to sleep longer but only if i sleep earlier! hahaha... haven't been following much of my tv shows... can't follow Smallville.... *sob sob* but now i'm following Chicago Hope that's on everyday in the evening 6+pm or so.... and also Missing... quite interesting.... then i saw the preview of FRIENDS!!! FINAL SEASON wei!!!!! OMG!!! i CAN'T miss that!! don't know when it'll start but i really hope they won't show it too late... ggrrrhhhhhh..... can't wait!! (though i have the dvd of the finale... nyeh nyeh nyeh...)

so the Australians got a new Idol.... it seems she entered Aussie Idol during their first season but didn't get through the first round... now... she won... i guess she really did practice.....

MAS is having problems... ticket prices and getting higher.... will i be able to go to Perth for my cousin's wedding? hmm... i wouldn't know.. it'll depend on the prices then... sigh... i hope it'll be affordable in March 06.... does anyone know of any flight sales? isn't there a MATTA fair coming? i'm not too sure....

"HISTORY MADE IN THE DUGONG CLAN"

Penang: In the history of nearly 6 years of the Dugong Clan in Penang, two members of the clan graduated together on the same day. Though in different places and of different certs, it's an honour to have two of their members graduate from their higher education.

Even though some of the other members of the clan has graduated, this is the first time that two of their members graduated at the same time. It will be something the members will remember and feel proud of.

Both of the members couldn't be contacted for an interview but it is said that a celebration would occur in the near future. Congratulations to the two members of the Dugong Clan and may the future be bright and filled with loads of opportunities.

THE "SQUARE" hat! - PART 2

here's the second part of my weekend....

had sometime before the graduation dinner... rested in the room... dead tired.. telling myself.. i can't believe it's over.. i've GRADUATED!!! omg.. i've been waiting for this moment for soooooo loooooong!!!

how nice if i had more time to soak and burn myself in this pool.... sigh....

my parents too were tired.. and we took our time to get ready for the dinner... my feet was killing me!!! i was calling my baby (he waited around) about what the other girls were wearing... i wasn't too sure if i should wear the dress i brought (which was really formal) or to wear something less formal.... so i came to a conclusion to wear pants instead.... didn't bring much blouses but had to make do with what i brought and wore my mum's bling bling necklace thingy... at least that would make my baju abit more appropriate for a dinner...

so then we went to the hall and there was SOOOOO MANY TABLES!!!! i guess to accomodate the 3200 ppl? hahahah.... so we managed to find our table and together there was 7 of us.... a lil bit later i got to see that there were sooo many empty tables!!! i guess the reason is that, only the graduates have free tickets to the dinner and if they want to bring in parents and friends, they got to pay RM90 PER PERSON... so that's REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!!!

as usual for Olympia College dinners, there were many performances one after another! fortunately they were entertaining.... at the end of that, they had chosen the best performance and i didn't catch what was the prize... and then they came down the stage and brought ppl to the dance floor for free dance.... it was cool.... music was good too... my table was far far away so.... couldn't see who was on the dance floor... i think the foreign VIPs were dancing too!!! hahahahhahah

we were back in the room about 10.30 pm or so.... and my baby and i thought of going out for a bit... spend some time together... a VERY short time unfortunately.. :( so we decided to go watch a movie.... HARRY POTTER... not that it was my first choice (sorry sharon)... they weren't playing Emily Rose so the next best movie was Harry Potter..... damn.. the story is getting darker and darker... and it's getting more towards yound adult mystery action type of story.... and the actors.... they're all soooo grown up!!!! esp the twins! Malfroy! and Ron!! but i still think Harry still has that youngish boy look..... movie was nice... i like this one... unfortunately i didn't really like the ending.... (again... sorry sharon)

thought of dropping by Beach Club (on the right - green small lights) but look at the jam! we ended up in KLCC the movie..

so by the time i got back to the hotel, 3am!!!! fuuhhhh u must be thinking how dead tired i was uh.... and u are right!!

the next day... we got up and had our free breakfast again..... and went to church... we thought mass at St Johns was at 10am... but it was at 10.30 instead.. so we headed to the photo shop to get my pics... and they were ready!!! i got the single potret and the stage pics... the family potret however will only be ready next month.... yeay!!! an excuse to go to KL again!!! :P

so after checking out from the hotel, we headed to TTDI... to see my godma... we had lunch at Sri Melaka.... no one was there cause we went at 2pm!! hahaha... food there were nice!!! but was too tired to eat and enjoy.....we had spicy fish, tau geh, pandan chicken and jap taufu.... for desert ice kacang and cendol..... uugghhhhh fullllllllll....

by the time we got on the highway to get back home it was 4pm something... waa tiring lo..... we should have gotten monday off.... but i couldn't get off.... so now.. i'm suffering at work... sleeepy!!!!!!

THE "SQUARE" hat! - PART 1

yes!!! i'm finally a graduate!!!

the weekend was superb!! tired though... but it was superb!!!! my dad and i reached Istana on friday night.... went to KL straight after work... waaa tired man!!!...

rested abit, then met up with some old family friends....

we went to Secret Recipie (mum's idea) which was in Bintang Walk... we walked there!! hahah surprisingly my mum suggested to walk... anyway it was just a mere 5-10 minutes walk... u could have seen my dad... he was like... waaaa...... eyes open big big... walking in the heart of KL where all the "happening" ppl is.... hehehe...

the next day was GRADUATION DAY!!! YEAYNESS!!!.....

got up freaking 6am!!! got ready and went down to the coffee house for free breakfast... that too couldn't really eat cause "excited" ler... hehehe no appitite!! then byt 8+ am went to the ballroom... already there was sooo many ppl!!!! even at the registration counter which opens at 9am... the line started to build... so... that's when the waiting-in-line-for-hours starts...

1st line

registration - to just show that u came and to get a number - 30 mins

2nd line

robe - to pay deposit and get the robe, hood and "hat" - 15 minutes

3rd line

payment for pictures- to pay for stage pics and family potret - 1+ hr

4th line

photography - to get my pictures taken for the personal potret and family potret - 1+ hr

and when that ended.... i was dead tired!!! feet was killing me and i was hungry... yups... no refreshments given.... and i haven't gotten in the hall yet!!!! managed to meet some classmates before the ceremony... man.. there were SOOOO SOOOO many ppl!!!! OMG!!! at that time i didn't know how many students that would be graduating that day!!!..... nowonder the crowd... just imagine 1 graduate brings their parents, siblings, grandparents/aunty/uncle, nieces/nephews... all in all bout lets say 8 in a group... so... lets say 400 graduates? 3200 ppl?? 0_0

so it was 12+ pm and time to get into the hall.... even in the hall had to wait....

instructions - organiser telling us where to walk, what to do, how to behave... etc - 30 mins

6th wait

VIP - for the VIPs to get ready and to get in the hall - 40+ mins

by 2pm only then the whole thing started... and already my stomach was growling furiously!!!! dad managed to get me a bottle of water... so at least i didn't feel that bad... but still... hungry AND tired.....

luckily there was only 2 speeches... i could die if there were more... the first speech was so so... the guy was talking crap.. he was talking about "it is a must to know the meaning of your name" and "i don't believe what William Shakespear said about a name is just a name....." yea... i know!!! WTF!!!! i stoped listening to him after he said that..... sheesh.....

then came the second guy.. he was representative from UK... Nottingham Trent University.. so it was an honour to have him there (he was the one who "gave" me my cert).... and his speech was meaningfull.... very touching.. nearly cried.. hehehe but cannot.... i was sitting with my male classmates.. so.. hheheheh tahan!!!!

and then the ceremony started....

7th wait

my turn - by the time it was my turn it was 4pm!! - 1hr

the graduation started with the certs, dip, adv dip and degree students of secretarial then business and THEN ONLY computers.... after us were the master students.... pitty them... they had to wait longer....

when i started to line up, there were ppl there to see if your robe is proper and then u walk up the stairs and give them your name card (given at the registration counter) and then your name is being called... my last name it seemed to be "REN" "TENS"!!! wtf man!!! walk walk walk (please don't trip please don't trip)... then shook the guys hand, took the "cert" (which was actually a file)... SAY thank you, look at camera AND smile.... walk walk walk... (please dun trip on the steps please dun trip on the steps)... headed towards the table to get the REAL cert... walk walk walk... passed my parents.. mum was crying AS USUAL (she cries at everything)... walk walk walk... reached my place.... fuuh!!!!! 20+ years of studying for a mere 5 minute walk!!!!

then even after the last speech of the day which was the thanking of sponsors, guests, lecturers, parents and etc.... we had to still stay in the hall for a group photo session

so by the time i got out from the hall to meet my parents and my baby (YES!!! he made it!!!!!) it was 4+ pm... went round taking pics and hanging around for a while.... by the time i gave back the robe and got back the deposit, it was nearly 5pm....

my baby and i had a drink and snack in the coffee house... damn $$$ man.... hotel price what!! hahahha.. but it was good to sit down... my legs were hurting like mad!!! and just being happy to see my baby again....

did u guys read todays papers? UPSR results are out and yes the kids did well this year but what i'm stressing here is that the things or shall i saw "rewards" they get when they scored well......

OMG!!!!!!!

my time.... i bearly had anything for my UPSR....

but this girl... she got a RM2000 handphone, a trip to HONG KONG (most probably to Disneyland) and that's not enough! ANG POW!!!! i'm speechless... i feel it's too much for a kid! u're like starting her off to be materialistic! she gets used to expensive things and trips... she'll be expecting more and more every year..... mind u, this is ONLY for her UPSR results... what happens when she finishes her PMR? a car? .... and what more her SPM? a house? a trip round the world? tsk tsk tsk... *shakes head in disbelief*....

fine.. she scored 7 As and if the parents can afford all that.. by all means.. go ahead.... but then.. dun la put in the papers.... tak malu meh? unless they like to be in the middle of attention la... if i were the girl.. i WOULD be estatic but i WOULD'T want the whole of Malaysia to know and read about my RM2000 hp-gift, HONG KONG trip and more ang pow!!....

i know some of u might think i'm jealous.. but just think about it... she's 12!!!!!! if this happens for her SPM... fine.. it wouldn't be THAT bad.... but she's ONLY 12!!!

kids nowadays just have all the luck.... sigh....

the wise one said....

had a short small chat with a "wise" one.... he told me that i was over paranoid bout the-never-ending-lateness of my baby... this "wise" one said that it's to be expected especially when it comes to long distance relationship.... i guess i should take his advice as he is older and more experienced than me.... like i said in my previous blog... i'm still "growing"....

but what pisses me off is that the lateness is cause when we're both in the SAME town!!!! not bout traveling from one state to another... but within the SAME town!!!! and it's not 5 - 10 minutes late... it's from 3 to 5 hours LATE!!!! (sometimes a few DAYS late!) who wouldn't get pissed? u tell me?

sigh.....

and what more u thought u were in a group, and yet u find out u're still being left out..... :(

trust and believe

could u trust and believe someone when someone tells u that they promise to do something eventhough they did not keep to their promises NUMEROUS times before?

are u willing to just not do or say anything about it and let it be, if they keep their promise or not?

how long are u willing to just be that way? to just let it be whether the promise is kept or not, over and over and over again?

aren't u scared that u'll get hurt AGAIN because u have a feeling that they will break their promise cause u know it happened many many times before?

how long will u put yourself in that position? until they change? until they prove to u that they mean what they say? or until u can't take it any longer and willing to just give up on them and let them go?

can u put a time to that? a month, a year, a FEW years? or are u just gonna let it be, not do anything and feel hurt everytime it happens?

a 4.20 am shock!

no.. i did not get up late!! in fact i left the house so much earlier today....

what i'm talking about is about a roadblock! there was a roadblock on the road that goes to the highway. i take this road to head to the highway which leads to the Penang Bridge to get to work in the island.....

can u believe that! there was a police roadblock! they stopped me and asked for my license (while there were cars waiting in line behind!) i was wondering... no i did not jump the red light, yes my lighst are all ok and yes i was wearing my seatbelt!... he asked where i was living and asked where i was working... i guess he was wondering why am i out so early in the morning..... so anyway, i gave him my license (mind u there were traffic behind me) and he checked it and also the road tax of the car....

he then gave me back my license and said i could go.... this is so puzzeling.... ok la maybe they're just having a routine check... but hey! they didn't check the guy behind me who was driving a big huge BMW and who immediately sped off after crossing the roadblock and over took me on my left!!!!!! they should have stopped and question him... not me!!!

but anyway... it's all good.. just got me by surprise at 4.20 am......

last weekend, i went to my Form 5 classmate's wedding, Amiza @ Amy. the wedding was lovely, the colour theme was soft and pleasant and had a pinch of Bollywood in it. i went with Nooreen and another classmate of mine, Chik, who i haven't seen her since school!

so when we reached Amy's house, there was quite a number of ppl... some were eating, some were just sitting around chatting... we went in the house to give our wedding gifts but was told that the bride and bridegroom was at the mosque... so we had a look around at the "pelamin" and the "wedding bed"... that's where u place your presents....

then the lovely couple came, congratulated her... she was soo happy we came and she said that she thought none of her classmates would come (err.. we came at 3pm only...) she nearly had tears in her eyes.... anyway we had our kenduri and went in the house again to see her.... she was having photography sessions... waaa..... u could have seen the poses.... changgih man!!!! come to think of it, the ppl who organised this really did a good job in everything! from the decor, bunga telur (actually it was soap, instead of egg), her attire, and photography poses.. they really knew what they were doing....

i was actually amazed... i mean this is my first "real" Malay wedding i attended... the other Malay weddings i went, was with my dad and we just sat at the kenduri place and ate... didn't actually go in to see the decor, see what's all about (though i missed the bersanding ceremony in Amy's wedding)

quietness

working today.... sigh.... it seems that yesterday, Australia was on public holiday..... so that means it would be a long weekend for them!!! and why didn't WE (at work) have a holiday? aren't we following THEIR calendar? sigh.....

so working on weekends... are nice.. it's quiet, less calls and u can catch up with whatever reading/emailing/surfing u needed or wanted to do... today, i've been given a lil bit more work to do... cause the ppl who are supposed to be doing it, is either on leave or not scheduled to work..... no probs actually...

i've missed the quiet.... the times where all u hear is birds chirping or the sound of the wind or crashing of the waves..... and together with that, reading a good book... and the book i'm reading now is Ah Ma Dugong's The Chronicals of Narnia.... which i actually bought for her for her birthday. She insisted i read it first cause she still have some catching up to do with her Harry Potters..... and with all this.. i guess i'm longing for a holiday.... by the beach would be nice.... ;) wouldn't know when THAT will happen.. *rolls the eyes*.. sigh.... knowing i got to work on weekends.... sigh....

but what i AM going to do... is to get back home today after work.... wash my hair, get comfortable and read.... read without the tv on, without the radio on, just read and fall asleep whenever i like... though there is church to go to in the evening....

my baby's back in AS.... he's busy this weekend with his mum and siblings.. going for some church convention in Penang... won't be catching up with him cause the convention is a whole two day thingy... sigh... but it's all good.. he hasn't been home and with them for quite abit... i should give him some slack bout it... it IS his family...

next weekend is my graduation... YEAYNESS!!! at Istana Hotel KL.. can't wait... nervous too... dunno why but i guess cause only then, i'll know if i am at Second Class Upper or Second Class Lower... yups... college couldn't (not supposed to) calculate and tell me earlier... now i'm around and about looking for a job without knowing what my "class" is..... weird right?

my dad, he made the payments for the graduation in college without my knowledge hence did not use the official form i filled in with my details and signature..... i panicked... cause the same form had the serial number for the rental of gown and official pictures!!!!! and also i lost the receipt.... hmm.. so i called the college, spoke to the lady in charge, explained things to her and finally found out that the form was filled in properly and i CAN STILL use the rental gown and official photo forms (that i have) on the graduation day... phew!!! and i got the receipt number too!!! phew.... panic man!!!! so whoever is in KL on the 19th of November, please feel free to come see me at Istana Hotel (near Bintang Walk) at around 4+pm when the ceremony ends!! we take picture picture ok? ;)

thinking of doing RED highlights to my hair.... i like the thick red bold highlights of one of the girls in the Dove Hair Shampoo commercial on TV.... wonder how much that would costs.... the previous highlights i did was RM60 (after much negotiating) and the highlights were thin... not thick.. so only at an "angle" u can see the colour... hmm.... maybe i shouldn't go there again.... any recomendation... (not too $$$ though....)

long distance vs normal

What would u prefer? a long distance relationship or a normal relationship (where your other half is bout 30 mins away from u)?

Would you think that the problems you're facing in a long distance relationship will dissapear if it changes to a normal relationship?

well.. that was a question that was given to me... i didn't know the answer... at first i thought it would dissapear but after the explanation of the question.... it got me thinking again.... but it all came down to trying to be yourself and at the same time making sacrifices... u got to make sacrifices whether u like it or not, whether u approve it or not and whether u UNDERSTAND it or not....

we are all growing (esp ppl like me)... new in the working life, new in relationships, new in life... everything is new, and it takes time to learn, make mistakes and grow.... though some ppl grow faster than others... (unfortunately i'm not one of them)... so i guess i got to be patient... just hope i have enough strength to be patient long enough and not give up so fast... i know everything can't be all by the book, straight and step by step.... u got to take chances and risks.... that's one thing i'm actually scared off... and that's the reason i'm falling behind.. unfortunately..

sometimes i think, i don't exactly know what i want... i keep telling myself that whatever comes take it.... like whatever job that comes my way take it! but then again if its in another state or some ulu place... will i take it? everyone in aussie land keeps telling me to get a working visa and just go there for a year and work..... damn! even going to KL is one big step for me... what more going overseas....

it's the same as relationships... i keep telling myself that it'll be better if it weren't a long distance relationship... but i wouldn't know... i never had a "normal" relationship.... hmmm even the smallest things in life... places to go, activities to do.. i always have to think if it's safe or "convenient" and things like that... i know i wasn't like that before during my schooling years... i used to go to every activity, spot, event... without a second thought!.. so active!... now?...... sigh.... i'm confused...

hehehhe.... well i will though... to KL for my graduation... i really do HOPE i get to do some clubbing.... i'm club deprived!! hahahaha... and this time - got excuse!! graduation ma hehehhe...

but anyway, they deserve that holiday, they've been working so hard, good for them that they are taking this time to go for some relaxation in a different place.. other than PENANG!!! hahahha.. if i were them, i too won't be holiday-ing in Penang... not to say that it sucks here.. but we LIVE here!!!! so it's nice to get away once in a while....

have FUN guys!!! or shall i say do NOTHING guys!! hahahahha....

so.. what's it like waking up at 4am to go to work..... actually.. no difference from getting up at 5am for 6am shift... it's just one hour earlier... only thing that sucks is that u gotta sleep early la.... if not.. sure kantoi at work....

there's two new girls in our department.... they were listening to our calls... learning the works of taking calls and the second half of today they started to take calls on their own.... i can still remember my first time i took calls... scary man!!!!! just hope they don't make too many mistakes....

to take a nap or not take a nap... that is the question.....

i'm sooooooo ashamed to tell u ppl who thought that he was a babe magnet!!!! and i won't cause i want to save my face!! hahaha... but really la.. i can't believe HE of all ppl would think he is a babe magnet!! i can't believe ANYGUY would think that he is a babe magnet.. i mean if he IS one, and he knows it, he still cannot.. i say cannot tell ppl that he is... haven't u heard about "modesty"? *rolls the eyes* (even though my friends say he's cute la.... )

but then again... i think he's just saying this to me just to make me laugh..... i guess that works (whether i'm laughing with him or AT him... heheheh)... but i don't think he'll ever say that to anyone else!!! hahahahha....... if i catch him...... suffering will start!

sick weekend

yea.. i was like nearly bed ridden man!!!

throat was bad.. went to the doc TWICE!!! (that's why got MC yesterday!) and got double dos of anti-biotics!!! fuyuuuhh!! power!!... so i drowned myself with pills and slept for 2 days.. not actually sleep for whole 2 days.. but was in bed.. sleeping early.. getting up late... recuperating.. reading a book in bed.... didn't have much appetite and i was using up 1 whole box of tissue.... yea.. my eyes were running so as my nose.. and i had a huge frog in my throat... tried not to talk for the past 2 days!!!! hahahhaha

with having a job 10 hrs a day talking non stop... it's nice to not-talk.. don't u think so?

hmm.. got a call from someone asking me if i knew bout something... which i didn't, but it seems i was supposed to know bout it.... but somehow i was not told bout it.... well... i was quite dissapointed that i wasn't told bout it but at the same time i was too sick to bother.... but i do wish that i was told... u know.. be in the "know".. but then it's in the past and there's nothing that can be done... so.. *shrugs*

before i've gotten really sick... i managed to get some vcds.... so when i became sick, i had a mini movie marathon... i saw The Skeleton Key, Eurapean Gigolo and SAW II..... oh my..... skeleton key was ok... though the version i had was dark so didn't quite get "into" the movie.... gigolo was funny!!! ahhaha crazy script!!!! and SAW II.... never did like SAW I, so.. didn't really enjoy the second one either.. mum wanted to watch it though..... hmmm....

bloody forgot my sweater!! i brought it back during the weekends for wash.. and was supposed to bring it back to work today... totally forgot wei!!!! i was telling myself... please don't be cold.... and please don't fall sick because of the cold...... grrr.... i got 1 1/2 hrs left at this place..... hope i won't be sick tomorrow.... grrr........ shit man!!! never forget your sweater if u work here i tell u!!!!!!

yea right... "fun" it seems......

so my dad and i started the journey on Friday evening.. bout 5pm+ went to fill the tank at our one and only petrol station in Bukit Tengah... and off we went!!!! no pics of the trip though, i was sleeping and soon it became dark AND it started to rain!! (fun #1)

the next day, everyone was "hinting" for a nice lunch... everyone meaning my Godma, mum and dad.... so ok la.. i knew what they were "saying" so i asked.. "who wants free lunch?!" hahahah.. all hands up!!!

so we went to 1-Utama (cause i wasn't feeling well (fun #2) to travel to KL itself) AND... 1-Utama was 10 mins away from Godma's place (we were staying in TTDI).. we parked at the old wing and walked around finding for a nice place to eat.... saw TGI Friday... but everyone thought that it would be too much for lunch.... they wanted something moderate (on their tummies AND my pocket.. so nice of them!) .. in the end we ended up at SEED...

to those who have eaten at 68 Kelawai (in Penang), the concept of the setting of the place is quite the same... they use white mahjong paper on the top of their table cloths... mum was quite impressed... "easy job for them" she says.... quite true also la...

then after lunch we walked around 1-Utama... so busy la... so many ppl.. somore with my monthy pain (fun #3), didn't really go to many places, went to bookshops and to some other shops... wasn't really paying attention... my attention was on the pain... damn!!!

so for tea... my dad said he wanted to belanja us tea... hahahha... he spotted some bakery.. and saw some tables and chairs.. so he asked if we could sit there and have some "tea"... so we had tea there, and i saw these chocolate sculptures.... cool eh!!! i don't know if its edible or not.. but yea.. it's made from chocolate.....

on Sunday, after Mass we went to KL-Bintang Walk to find out where exactly is the hotel for my graduation and was getting to know the roads... we got lost (fun #4) a few times cause one of the main road was closed.. so we had to divert... didn't take pics as it was raining alot, and walking alot and was pressing for time.. we had to get back to TTDI to get ready for the dinner in Klang

by now i've been in KL since Friday night till Sunday evening - no sign of my baby (fun #5)

even at this moment, my baby didn't arrive yet..... told him to take the train, so much easier... NOooooo.... he wanted to take the cab AND get lost... do u know how much it cost to get from Ampang to Klang?? not cheap ok!!! but then, dun want to listen to gf... could easily just spend like bout RM6+ to get to Klang using the train (Aunty Bridget's hse is just 5 mins walk from a KTM train station in Klang)

then on Monday, got up abit late... took our time to have breakfast, watched my cousing wedding CD of the Australian wedding and the Malaysian wedding... thank God there was nothing much on me in the CD.. hahaha... if got, malu-nye...

by 3pm+ we headed back to 1-U to get some Roti Boy buns AND Baoz.... yea it's a pau shop that only sells paos with different types of filling.... and after that... Home Sweet Home (fun #6)

damn.. can't see properly... one was rendang pau and another was BBQ chicken (i'm thinking char siew - but it's a halal place so it's chicken)
