old mates
friday was an interesting day, though i actually meant the night...
i met up with my old class mate - Sheau Houy (spelling?) , and a school mate who was back for hols from the UK, Leyna! and i only saw her the night before she left... why? it's because she went hiking and backpacking in Thailand (and the countries around there) for a week!!! hhmmpphhh!!!
so yea, we 3 met up and i brought them to eat banana leaf.... i was just thinking, she eats eng food most of the time, so why bring her for eng food when there's indian curry!!! we had tandoori chick, dried chick, prawns and loads of curry, we also had mango lassi... we were eating and eating and eating and taking pictures and catching up.... LOADS of catching up, haven't seen them both since high school! we were cathing up about our other friends and then we spoke bout jobs, comparing the benefits one gets here compared to the UK.... stuff like that.... and the shop was closing! hahahha... so since we haven't finished yet... we went to Beans....
there we were, with our coffees and a cake.... and more talking... it's weird to meet up after a long time, u think u'll feel awkward and nervous, but after a few mins, u'll feel comfortable (cause heeellloooooo u went to school with them?) and u recognize the familiarity that u longed for, forget and missed.... and u'll come back to your own-self...
of all the reunions i've been, not once i felt awkward... i guess u'll only feel like that when they (or you) have changed.... so far so good, no one has changed.. still the same ol (noisy) cbm girls i knew... hehehehe....
it was a nice nite, it's been a while since i saw familiar faces....

Had a brilliant time and thanks for trying hard to reschedule things and meet up with me, even when I was gonna be late! *blush*
