don't if u really have to

the story is, i found out, if u're in a company (a big company like where i am) under contract or under a job agency, don't HOPE to get permanent in the same department or in a different dept in the SAME company cause they don't convert you - ever.
so if u want to be permenant in the same department or in a different department, there's TWO ways....
1- leave your current job, and come in again on your own (without the job agency) and u'll get permenant...
2- you're impressive/good enough that your own boss will give the approval to HR to convert you...
i know it sucks... but take your pick.... what will yours be?
my pick is to...
1- cry
2- cry
3- mass hunting for jobs - email, website, newspapers (without the help of the job agency)... which is really hard...
now i know why finding for a job is very hard (be it IT, computers or other fields).... sigh... does anyone there wants to hire me? *puppy eyes* pleeeasee...

I'd go for Option 2 if you are happy there. I'd opt for Option 1 if it is 100% (and perhaps in writing) that they will definately hire you when you quit, and of course if you want to stay.

Option 3 would be the option if none of the above applies. Be sure to check if you stay with them permenantly, you are not losing out in pay wise compared to now ok (even better if it's more)? Either way good luck! :)
