changes

for the first time in so long i haven't driven to the penang jetty, i took the highway from work to town. i was thinking, there won't be any traffic but will be towards Komtar area... but then when i was on the highway, i noticed that the second part of the highway was open! i was so happy... no more traffic jams!!!

while i was driving i was thinking on where would the road end... and i found out that it ended at a small kampung where i remember there were lots of chinese temples and that there was always some thing going on there, religious celebrations.... but now, it's all gone.... houses and even the temples were abandoned or knocked down, the good thing is that i could reach the jetty 15 mins earlier!!! at it was after work, which was 6.30pm! amazing uh?

even when i reached the jetty, they turned the car parking lot to a sort-of-bus-station where the red and white busses are parked there.. still the yellow busses are obstructing traffic on the main road... wonder why they won't use the new parking lot. with that, there's no parking lot for cars... wonder where it is... or is there none?

so many things has changed in penang.. especially places i seldom go, or used to go but haven't after a very very long time... come to think of it, i haven't gone on the ferry for quite some time either... wonder if there's anything changed there....
